We do not learn from our mistakes

We do not or should not have to learn from our mistakes !

To have to learn from our mistakes is a pathetic thing. We should not have made the mistake in the first place.

We learn from our teachers or from books or internet. And our teachers get their knowledge from books. And books are written by authors who learned from someone else or from their mistakes. In short, we learn from others' mistakes, not our own !

Japanese KAIZEN Total Quality Management focuses on this important principle - Do Right The First Time ! We should try to minimize mistakes, especially our owns.

I believe in God but not in religion

I believe in God. I believe god created the universe. Why? I can see the divine designer hand in the beautiful order and complexity of the universe.

I do not believe totally in organized religion. I believe man's explanation of God is flawed. And religion is man's flawed attempt to explain God.

Many men claim to know the thoughts and heart of God. They got some right but some dreadfully wrong.

Yet they claim to know everything about God. Thus many blamed God for the mistakes and atrocities men did in the name of God.

As for me, I shall take these men.s words with a pinch of salt. I shall rely on my heart, mind and spirit in knowing God.
